Higher Education in France

A guest lecture was organized at the IIS (Deemed to be University) on "Higher Education in France" by Mr. Rachit Dhawan, Manager at Institut Français en Inde, Delhi on February 6, 2020. Mr. Dhawan enlightened everyone on the ocean of opportunities that one can avail by learning French in today's globally competitive economy. He stated about the mutual recognition of academic qualifications in France and India without any extra credits and differentiated fees between French and Indian students. Moreover, the new Visa policy includes eligibility for a two-year post-graduation employment visa in France. Then he made us aware of "Campus France", a government agency that operates under the French Ministry of External Affairs, which provides personalized counseling sessions, organizes various workshops and offers scholarships to the students looking to pursue higher education in France. This was followed by an informative video. Then the session was open to questions by students which Mr. Dhawan answered succinctly. The guest speaker was given a vote of thanks. Thus the highly informative session came to an end.
